This jewelry style Tahkli support spindle's elegant design starts with one of my signature steel shafts with heat forged hook and a professionally applied powder-coat paint in high-gloss Plum Velvet. The whorl is made from an alloy disc with a plum velvet color surface tint. Two large gold plated filigree bead caps adorn the top and bottom side of the whorl and there are 4 multi-crystal bead spacers on the inside and outside of the cap... finished off with gold plated findings. All components are permanently bonded using an industrial epoxy glue.
This is a medium weight Tahkli style spindle and it spins fast and long – making it great for not only cotton, but other short staple fibers.
