Made from a total of 40 individual pieces, this new design incorporates a black diamond crystal encrusted 1.7" (43mm) black chrome plated pendant and two 1/8" (3.2mm) acrylic disc for a whorl. The pendant is laminated to the acrylic disc and has green apple mica epoxy tint applied in between. Through-holes are precisely drilled to accept the six No.10-32 Stainless Steel Screws and Nuts that produces ample rim weight for strong and sustained. The Whorl is mounted to a 8.5" larger diameter high-carbon spring-steel shaft that has a larger (than my other steel shafts) heat forged hook to will fit almost any fiber and great for plying. The top and bottom sides are fitted with two large gold plated floral bead caps and a variety of silver and gold plated/tone findings - along with two gold plated multi-crystal spacer beads. Additionally, I couldn't leave this spindle without extra bling, so this workhorse of a spindle will dazzle you as it spins with 24 Iridescent VItrail AB color Preciosa Crystal Rhinestones. All components are assembled using industrial quality 2-part epoxy resin for long life.
This spindle is heavy and has amazing rim weight and a perfectly balanced spin and is perfect for long staple and coarse fibers, art yarn, as well as plying singles.
