Made from a total of 33 individual pieces - This Tahkli (Style) Support Spindle is made with a 1.2” diameter Chrome Alloy Whorl (disc) and is adorned with two silver (color plated) filigree medallions, 24 Swarovski Crystal Rhinestones (Clear and Rainbow Colored), a faceted colored glass bead, and silver color plated alloy and stainless steel findings . The shaft is hand-made from spring steel with a heat forged hook that is coated with a 2-coat hi-temperature powder-coat paint. All parts are mounted with industrial 2-part epoxy. This is a heavier weight Tahkli style spindle and it spins fast and long – making it great for not only cotton, but other short staple fibers and fibers such as silk and fine wool.

OH MY GOSH! The beauty of this spindle is simply amazing. The balance is impeccable. the spin is fast and smooth.. The best money I have spent in a long time. Please get at least one for yourself. You will not be disappointed

This spindle makes me happy. I got it with a fuchsia shaft and the crystals are rainbow colors. Also it has a nice weight and all parts are securely attached. My cotton spinning skills are not so great yet but that's on me. It's fun to practice with this spindle though, so I will get better!
