RAINBOW CHAKRA SOLID BRASS (Singing) SUPPORT BOWL is 3-3/8" (8.4cm) diameter and 1-3/4" (4.9cm) tall. It is the perfect shape and size for support spindle spinning for use with practically any type of support spindle. Big enough to not have to pay much attention on aiming for a small bowl and the curved bottom guides the spindle to the center - and when the side is tapped, a lovely tone is heard - for a bit of a special spinning experience. DECORATION: This bowl has additional machine turning to add decorative lines, etching, and a rounded off top/smoothed over top edge. Additionally, the bowl has 7 Rainbow Chakra color Swarovski crystal rhinestones embedded (recesses drilled into the brass and crystals adhered with epoxy glue) into the side of the bowl and a gold plated medallion epoxy glued to the bottom side.

WOOD RING BASE is made from an oil finished natural oak hardwood ring and provides the bowl with a stand for flat surfaces to spin from, or display. The wood ring is 3-1/4" (8.3cm) diameter and 1/2" (1.3cm) thick and has 3 non-slip silicone rubber feet attached on the bottom side (drilled and recessed into the wood ring)
- SPINNING SURFACE (Inside Bowl) WILL DULL/SCRATCH with use and develop a unique patina over time. The bowl comes with a polished finish and the brass can be kept bright by using a standard brass polish if desired.

In all honesty I didn’t really need another spinning bowl. But having ordered one of John Galen’s exquisite Takhli spindles I felt it deserved an equally stunning bowl. This one is both highly functional (deep, well rounded, heavy) and comes on a non slip wood ring but is also lovely to look at. That it begins as a singing bowl ;and still functions perfectly as one) is a nice bonus.
