One of the most well balanced spindles that I've ever made; these support spindles are made with a 1.5” diameter x .125” thick beveled edge and polished acrylic disc, two lovely silver plated Filigree Flower Pendants, and twelve "Alora" high-quality/precision cut faceted Austrian Crystal Rhinestones for a whorl. The whorl, along with two clear crystal rhinestone bead spacers, one clear faceted glass bead, and multiple silver plated findings is combined with a signature John Galen powder-coat painted steel shaft with a heat forged hook. All parts are mounted with industrial 2-part epoxy.

This is a light to medium weight Tahkli style support spindle it spins fast and long – making it great for not only cotton, but other short staple fibers, and fibers such as silk and fine wool.
